The Great Big Green Week is Coming!

Alarm Clock

Put down your spoon because the Great Big Green Week is only a few weeks away, and you’re invited!

The Great Big Green what now?

The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest call for action on climate change. From 18 to 26 September 2021 there’ll be thousands of events and activities up and down the country to show decision makers that people from all walks of life are stepping up to take action on climate change - and we need them to step up too.

Why is this happening in September?

The UK is hosting a huge climate summit, called COP26, this November. This is a HUGE opportunity for leaders to make necessary and urgent commitments to action against climate change.

COP26 is also the reason communities around the country are coming together for the Great Big Green Week.

If our government takes strong action now, it can set us on a cleaner, greener, fairer path to restore the UK’s natural environment, protect the world’s most vulnerable people and provide hundreds of thousands of new jobs across our communities.

For our government to act with ambition on climate change, politicians need to hear that we want them to act. The Great Big Green Week is our opportunity to come together, make some noise and ensure our leaders hear our calls for action.
