The UK's Sweetest Spots

From London to Edinburgh, Manchester to Cardiff, the UK is chock full of treats... and, since we love all things sweet, we wanted to share some of our favourites with our fans.

1. Mary's Milk Bar, Edinburgh

Hot Chocolate and Ice Cream Floats

Who said that ice cream is best served cold?! Certainly not Mary... grab yourself a hot chocolate ice cream float from this 1940's themed milk bar and ride the chocolate train straight to creamy heaven. Can't get up to Edinburgh? Fear not chocolate enthusiasts we've come up with our own recipe!

2. Bread Ahead, London

Doughnuts

Although they sell bread, buns and brownies, we're after one thing and one thing only at this Borough Market stall — doughnuts. Whether you prefer the salted caramel, classic vanilla, or blackberry jam variety, Bread Ahead's got a taste for every tongue. We recommend the limited edition Chocolate Brownie Ripple... catch it while you can!

3. Flesh n Buns, London

S'mores

This rock'n'roll ramen joint may not seem like the most obvious choice for indulging in marshmallows around the campfire, however we can assure you otherwise. Skip the savoury and head straight for the dessert menu, where you can make your own s'mores over a table-top Japanese brazier.

4. Kooky Bakes, London

Dosants

11am — that awkward time between the morning and afternoon where it's too late for breakfast and too early for lunch. Our solution? The dosant. A hybrid of a croissant and a doughnut, it's the perfect indulgence for in-between-meals o'clock. Oh and did we mention, there's a maple bacon version too.

5. Barker Tea House, Cardiff

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea is usually about as exciting as getting a pair of socks for Christmas, but not at this Cardiff-based joint. Swapping earl grey for sauce-laden milkshakes and cucumber sandwiches for chocolate parma-violet cake, Barker Tea House knows how to rock this century-old tradition.
