We're on the hunt for a new team member with digital expertise to help spread peace, love and Fairtrade ice cream throughout the UK.
Ben & Jerry’s is renowned for its delicious chunks and swirls, irreverent ice cream names and many other things. Our company is expanding and our love for social media keeps on growing too.
In 2016 we are looking to expand our online content and communications team under our publishing set up. A new position has been created for a Digital Publishing Manager who will be the link-up person between our Social Mission, PR and New Product teams plus our comms and creative agencies.
Owning the content schedule, the digital editor will ensure a constant supply of engaging and quality content driven by our blog, while working alongside our media agency to deliver targetted reach in both paid and earned media. A background in working with digital, in particular social channels and a knack for creative writing will be key.
Ideal candidates will also have a relevant degree and be currently employed in publishing or media communications. Experience working in, or otherwise with, digital agencies will also put you in good stead as will a proven track record in writing articles, blogs etc. We're also looking for somebody who has a strong interest in current affairs, opinions in social issues affecting communities and a desire to play their part in the pursuit of a fairer, more equal society.
This position will suit a dynamic, entrepreneurially minded individual looking for a varied and challenging role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of bespoke digital communications targetting audiences with a passion for ice cream, key social issues and best of all, both!

Position Details:
- Three days per week initial contract
- Based in both our Surrey and Berkshire offices accessible by train
